When natural disasters strike, those of us who are not directly involved watch in horror. Then we wonder how we can help. Second Life is marvelous in that there is always an opportunity to help. The Pacific Crisis Fundraiser starts today, with all proceeds going to disaster relief after the terrible earthquake and tsunami in Japan last week. It’s heartbreaking, but there is something you can do. Visit The Pacific Crisis Fundraiser location and purchase some of the wonderful offerings generously donated by SL designers. Do it. You won’t regret it.
I was just over there and it’s jammed to the rafters with wonderful items! For this post, I’m going to feature the donation made by Julliette and Olivia from Le Poppycock. They’ve made a wonderful Le Tanque called Japan Love and you can pick it up with either a tote bag or a lunchbox. They’ve included a little pose inside, too.
And here’s a closer look at Le Tanque.
The fundraiser goes until April 10, so make sure you take some time and browse the wares.
Our hearts go out to Japan and everyone who has been touched by this event.
