Last weekend at the Red River Ballroom, the SL Cure Chasers (a hot and exciting Relay for Life team 🙂 ), held a kick off party that involved a Found Fashion contest. Participants put together outfits that cost no more than 10L and then were voted on at the party. The winner (although it was difficult to vote because everyone did such a great job) was Morgan Kincess. Morgan was the Cure Chasers’ mentor last year and is currently the International Chair of SL Relay for Life. The big prize for winning the contest is to be featured in my blog. Now, I don’t know how big that is, but I can say that I had an excellent time getting to know Morgan and we braved many unforeseen events to bring you these pictures! Contest-Winning Outfit
As I mentioned, Morgan is the International Chair for Relay for Life (RFL) on SL. She’s been with RFL since 2008, was a team captain for 2 years, then team mentor, and now the International Chair. Her focus this year is to make sure that people who don’t speak English understand what RFL is about, and to give them the option to help if they want to and not be barred by the language barrier. Right now, Morgan is looking for ambassadors who are willing to help with international relations. She’s building a team of ambassadors and hopes to have many in the main languages spoken in SL. If this sounds like something you’d like to do, you can IM Morgan or send her a notecard to volunteer or to ask questions.

In addition to being a contest winner and a philanthropist, Morgan is also the owner and designer behind Digital Eyes, a long standing SL brand. Her shop features exquisite animated fans, dance fans, hair, showgirl outfits, baroque, burlesque, retro, gorean RP props, and more! She’s participating in the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser, so if you haven’t taken a look at Morgan’s work, now is the time!
