Winter up in the Canadian tundra is long and challenging. Okay, so I’m not quite up in the tundra, but a Canadian prairie winter is long and challenging. When the groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter, we laugh and know we are going to get at least 8 more weeks of winter after Groundhog’s day. What’s a woman to do? I’ll tell you! Here comes the sun!
She throws on her bathing suit and hits the SL beach. Unfortunately, I’m not well versed in beach life on SL. A search turned up lots of sex beaches, and nudey beaches. That’s fine but not what I was looking for.
Just as I was getting comfortable, the beach was infiltrated by horses. A whole whack of horses!
I finally found a place where I could relax and swim…in my shoes.
I stayed so long that I got to experience the waves in the dark.
If it weren’t for pesky notions of Jaws, it would have been ideal.
Back to winter.
